Curption is Evil

Oladokun Sulaiman

Between curruption and falsehood--Greatest threath to quality of life

Human is created to be free through finding knowledge of the truth of life and certainty. God has created the universe on the basis of love and has demanded of the people to they should build our life in the foundation of truth, to make truth and straight dealing a practice of our life., and to give truth a place in our talking and dealing .When a society lost sight in this sense, hardship will be generated.

There is no difference between falsehood and corruption, most trouble land today, gets all the trouble because of lack of truth leading to widespread corruption. Being corrupt is being liar, a false teller, it is the great evil, and that comes with punishment a society cannot avoid, in corruption you can get everything – but only for short time, it will never last and the end of is definitely bad, if we the corrupt person don’t get the repercussion, his or her loves will get it – this is real – the law of karma is real and it work quite well here. There is absolutely no excuse for those who make lying their habit and who for the whole of their life go on deceiving people by their falsehood—I tell then end really justify the mean. How we end everything, mater and depends what we do now.

characteritcs of liars and currupt people

Falsehood is evil that encloses the internal and wickedness of the liar, it involve wrong dealing that act as spreading evil that even without forcing inclinations ,

it lead people to commit gracious sins. It is like a disease which requires a very long drawn treatment Corrupt people are like fright and cowardice which always hinder the progress of a coward and frightened human. They are like greed which make human misery and stingy. Corrupt people are prey of their fear and doubts when it comes to giving hand of friendship
Deficiency and weakness of quality of life of false associated with falsehood mostly enter peoples nature when they are being called upon to do their duty. No matter what the extent of lying is and its widespread make responsible for what happened after it. If we remember we are on mission that is to say we have to report to somebody one day .journalist who write to disguise the people by false news , politician , leaders who misrepresent important public problems, and slave of selfishness who cast aspersions against eminent people of goodwill are committing a terrible crime—because millions will suffer every head suffer because of one person or group of person will go after them- can you image what the end of these enumerated people can be .

In order to build thrust you need to be honest:

Ø Honest and open with people and able to be counted upon to do what you say

Ø Ready to share praise and sense of achievement

Ø Able to see other people point of view and respond to them

Ø Willing to take responsibility

Ø Skilled at listening

Ø Prepare to thrust others

Adapted from stay confidence by John Caunt, Koga page limited London

In addition to this, it is important for us to learn; through learning it will be easy for us to make good judgment, we should be careful about following falsified stories, the story has no fault for telling his stories,,, certainty and reality of the stories is bound on us to decide on and make our judgment – it is judgment we make that determine if we are real human – I mean judgment based on truth, conscience, judgment, misleading without bias judgment that leave us with no doubt. falsehood accusation either in the form of breaking promise,, false itself is a big evil , every time we tell one ,our though get destabilized , ., not only that we loose respect and honor.

Another purpose of our being is raising beautiful kids, that will be truthful, because they will lake a new generation, and if generation is bad, the continuity of human existence can end. We must sow in the hearth of the children the seeds of gratefulness and importance of truth so that they may grow up and develop on truth, and give it place in their talk.

Lies can go for many days, but there is no doubt hat truth has its day - Further to this before I drop my pen on this issue, we should be careful in our daily dealing on the following:

Ø Telling lies in joke

Ø Avoid exaggeration in praise

Ø Avoid breaking promise

Ø Truthfulness in our speech

Ø Avoid falsehood and deception in trades

Audio Books

As we know since early times books were one of the main sources of knowledge. In many cases people told that one of their hobbies was a reading. But today the situation with reading is rather different. Many people are too busy both at work ands home and that’s why there is no enough time which can be dedicated to reading of interesting novel or  detective or adventure story or fantasy. This process takes a lot of time which we don’t have because it is necessary to do plenty of other things. But if you still want to read new literary works or old works which didn’t have the possibility to read in past, then let’s find some alternative. It becomes obvious that audio book is worthy alternative to traditional book.
Today audio books   become more and more popular because people realized all their advantages. Audio book can be used anywhere – while you are travelling, at work, at home, while you are walking, in general you can do something and at the same time to listen to interesting novel or detective of your favorite author. Such kind of books also enlarges your vocabulary with new words, word combinations and phrases.
You can purchase audio books at CD and DVD shops, music libraries, and big supermarkets. It is also possible to order audio books online. And there are even such websites where it is possible to download audio books free. Among the biggest online bookstores it is necessary to mention Audiobooks.org, Amazon.co.uk, and Audiobooks.net. You can listen to audio books by means of players, laptops, iPods etc.

Saraceno by Djelloul Marbrook

In “Saraceno,” Djelloul Marbrook has crafted an entirely new variety of gangster tale. The story of a Mafia hit man and his friend, the grandson of the godfather, as each searches for his own true path, this compact novella is also a glass through which we see its author. “Saraceno” is an unlikely artifact: a Mafia story sculpted with the most refined of sensibilities from the clay of high art and philosophy, and then thoroughly suffused with love. This love is, first, the mysterious affection of a creator for his creations, a compassion for flawed humanity that drives the best fiction and makes its consumption a healthy activity. Second, it is the love of the characters for one another, from which redemption finally comes.

In Marbrook’s narrative, "Il Saraceno" is the secret nickname given to the handsome and deadly Billy Salviati by his Mafia master, connoting both menace and respect--the historical view of the Sicilians toward their one-time rulers, the Arabs. Billy’s life changes, as do the lives of his few friends, when he meets an elderly Jewish woman and is introduced to a library of the best writing and a rooftop full of roses. In an economical, erudite voice powered by an awesome vocabulary, Marbrook weaves bright strands of alchemy, art, literature, and religion into a dark Hell’s Kitchen fabric.

If you're an aficionado of the recent spate of gangster yarns masquerading as psychological explorations while glorifying brutality, “Saraceno” may leave your bloodlust unfulfilled. This is no “Sopranos,” no “Goodfellas,” no “Godfather Part X.” A nasty beating or two are in full view, but the much bloodier doings we know to be the currency of that world stay off-screen. In the same way that Paul Auster used the "detective" persona in his “New York Trilogy” to create works of art that delve into mysteries far deeper than "whodunit," and as a result got slammed by fans of the genre, so “Saraceno” takes higher aim, and may not be appreciated by those who prefer their reading tightly pigeonholed.

Djelloul (Del) Marbrook is the kind of writer I take real pleasure in discovering: a Hudson Valley neighbor and a mature artist whose rich body of work is finally coming to light. Marbrook’s poetry collection, “Far From Algiers,” is the 2007 winner of the Wick Poetry Prize and will be published in September 2008 by Kent State University Press. Other publications, both fiction and poetry, are forthcoming, and his blog is always insightful. See www.djelloulmarbrook.com.

Bruce Kriger

Lilli-Bunny is a clear-eyed satirical tale. Lilli-Bunny might be you, but without the dog-eat-dog life, work that sucks, shrimpy wage, abuse and discrimination, burnt porridge, rubber love, clay conscience, spat soul, snotty childhood, wooden toys, finger in the glass of milk in kindergarten (so that your neighbor won't drink it), blots in your copybook, ice cream fallen to the pavement, slaps of schoolmate bullies, Jules Verne ships that set sail without you, pathetic marriage, or pressure of “circumstances” that turned into fully-grown boneheads who smoke in your basement (not just tobacco), dysfunctional family, disrespectful grandchildren, measly old age, early death, solitude in the crowd, and also, of course, the “Major Disappointment of Your Entire Life” (whatever you choose it to be) and other insignificant troubles. Lilli-Bunny might be you if, of course, you add to your life a full scoop of sunny days, a little semolina porridge with raspberry jam, a friendship with a teddy bear, a portion of common sense, a sense of humor, some sharp-toothed satire, a bit of merry laughter, and whole lot of unrestrained laughter with hands swinging and feet stamping on the floor—“Ha! Ha! Ha!”
Lilli-Bunny is a wonderful mixture of fantasy and truth. Everything in Lilli-Bunny’s world is magical and fascinating. That is not to say that Lilli-Bunny always has an easy time of it. Lilli-Bunny has to deal with all kinds of problems.
Lilli-Bunny has to manage a mole revolution when he decides to learn golf. At another time, he faces outrageous taxation in the Global Economy. All the while, the author is likening Lilli-Bunny’s predicaments to world problems. The comparisons are always thought-provoking.
Author Bruce Kriger is not afraid of taking on the issues. He explores hiring practices, cultural differences, and the arts. His Lilli-Bunnybrings up global warming, and governmental issues like democracy and money reform. Even modern cultural staples like fast food and psychology get attention. Lilli-Bunnyhandles it all and he and his friends come out fine.
Kriger’s story may be about a Lilli-Bunny and his friends, but all the while we know that it is about our very real world. Kriger is not shy about expressing his views. He is well-informed and passionate.
What is just as important, he is funny. Lilli-Bunny and the characters that live in Lilli-house with him are charming and likeable.Lilli-Bunny is a joy to read and it is hard to put down. In the end, the book boils down to a clear-eyed story based on modern life.

El.Sailo The bamboo flowerings of Mizoram

Lalngaihawma Sailo

Lunglei,venglai.

The mellifluous songs serenade by certain crickets and cicadas are often being heard in the month of September in Mizoram which is the harbinger of the on coming favourable time of harvesting ,an ideal time for a lover to court their love, everything look beautiful and attractive. The paddies in the steep side of the hills become yellow. At the time of harvesting, the clamor of the reapers, winnowing the husks of the paddy are enjoyable, eyecatching and melodious; the whispering wind, the glittering sounds of the brook gushing out of the hill side as well, for which the reapers used to quench their thirsts. Birds singing on the branch of trees in the heat of the day are so much sedative; however , enjoyable and lovable. It is the time of peace and happiness. Howbeit. the joy and exuberant of the reapers are now being replaced by the undesirable event, the so called ‘Mautam’ which usually occur every 50 years.

Mizoram is now infested with the mischievous rats being fed by the fruits of bamboos in every part. Bamboos are now extinct, almost all the seeds of bamboos are eaten up by the rats. Now , the unnumbered rats, rapacious, hateful and terrible began to ravage all the cereal crops and paddies in the fields, and left only the stalks and leaves of the paddies ,likewise, the cereal crops. Sometimes, in the stillness of midnight thousands of rats come out without being seen , marching towards the paddy field, trying to consume all the products of the farmers and cultivators and also in day time. No one knows when will the rats appear .the cultivators and the farmers are so much embarrassed with such inexplicable events of the flowering of bamboos , the thickly population of rats along with unnumbered insects. They are now in a state of depression, with uncontrollable minds, fear and anxious. many attempts have been made to eradicate all the rats; but. they are of no use. The paddy fields no longer comfort the farmers and cultivators. Their hardships and toil are in vain. Even though the farmers try their best to get rid of the rats, it is of no use. Much more rats appear .After they finished eating, all of them are disappeared in the forest, untraceable , unbelievable and invincible.

The desolated paddy fields reflect the future condition of the farmers and cultivators. These undesireable events may lead Mizoram into worse condition that they have never forethought. We are in need of the pied piper!!!....

Pray for Mizoram…..

Rats Rats go away

To the place where you belong;

The farmers are in no mood

Come again no
